Hey guys! I'm back on my blog...a year+ since my last post (SORRY!). I've been fixing it for quite some time now because I feel like I need it to look perfect to fit my tastes. Previously, my blog was pink all over but now that I've gotten older, I feel like I'm more into a minimalist vibe.
So I know a lot of you celebrate Christmas and I thought it would be perfect to share with you my top 10 faves/highly recommended K-Beauty products that you can add into your Christmas wishlist! All of the products on this list will be available at Althea Korea since that's where I get my K-Beauty products from. I know you might be thinking "look at Kristine trying to shove Althea Korea in our faces" BUT let me tell ya, I trust Althea Korea 100%. Their products are legit and honestly, it's a bit tricky to buy K-Beauty products as there are a lot of counterfeit products going around these days. Do you really wanna risk that? I don't.

Quick blog update: In a few days (or weeks) I will be completely changing the look of this blog as this cutesy, pink theme is not really my style anymore. I've been quite MIA from blogging and filming but one of these days I will be back for sure! I am in the middle of creating new designs for my blog and creating a new intro for my Youtube videos as well. A few days ago I have received a package from Althea Korea. It's their new product, the Petal Velvet Powder. I was asked to do a review on it so I thought this would be perfect as I was planning on getting back to blogging again.
As usual, all packages from Althea come in a bright pink plastic with the Althea logo and the box usually is a pale pink (almost lilac) color. The box design changes when there is a special holiday like Christmas or when it's their birthday. Unfortunately, I was unable to take a picture because I was so excited to take a picture of the inside that I forgot to take a picture of the outside! Nevertheless, their packages are always beautifully and carefully packaged and wrapped with bubble wrap. I haven't received a box from Althea that was damaged.
As you all know, I frequently use Uber when I go to places around Metro Manila. Ever since I tried Uber, I never turned back. I love how safe and secure you feel when you're commuting. I know, not all regular taxi drivers are mean or whatnot. But the chances of getting a ride with a nice, honest driver? Not that big. There are lots of news these days about taxi drivers and their modus operandi. Some will use a spray that will make you fall asleep and rape you and drop you off somewhere while unconscious. Some will drive you through a "shortcut" but it's actually a dark road where they have someone else waiting so they can mug you. Some will actually mug you by themselves. Also, worst case scenario, they'll kill you. There's a lot, really. If you go on Facebook a lot, you will see news about crazy taxi drivers.

I'm really sorry for the lack of updates here on my blog. I've been so busy last year that I forgot to make reviews of products and tbh I don't know when will I be able to get to it. But anyway, I'm still busy this month since I'm working on plans for this blog and my YouTube channel. I did promise to start being active on my blog and channel this 2016 and like I said, I'm working on it to give y'all some great content! I've been so busy planning stuff since late last year that I just had to take the time off and go on vacation. So here I am, I just got back from my trip to Cebu!

I recently got a job at a call center and I'm currently training (and on a graveyard shift) so I spend most of the day being a vampire sleeping. BUT since I got quite the long sleep yesterday, I'm awake now and I'm actually planning on filming a video. I don't know what to film so while I'm thinking about that, I'm trying to be productive by typing out a new blog post instead of laying around thinking of what kind of video to film because knowing myself, I'm bound to fall asleep in a matter of seconds -__-
ANYWAY... as usual, I still have a sh*t ton of makeup to review and it's all piling up and I should accomplish some of those sometime soon.
I also got a sh*t ton of makeup tutorials planned but I'm not in the mood to film it. (I really want to film a video that I'm happy and motivated to film. I don't like filming something half-assed!)

Hello~ if you have been following me on my SNS, you probably know that last Tuesday (Oct. 21) I celebrated my birthday and officially entered my 20s! I am now proud to say that I have been living and breathing for 2 decades! Ah~ I don't know what's coming for me now that I am 20 years old but I do hope better things will come knocking on my door! I'm guessing that at this age I should have a career and slowly walk through the road of success. I guess this is the time where I should start looking for a stable job to be able to support my family and have enough to start a family in the future. (Ah, Kristine, you just turned 20 and you don't even have a boyfriend yet you are already thinking about your future family...)

Hello cuties~ I'm sorry for disappearing, I've just been busy with K-Pop events and dance practice recently, I even forget to vlog T.T but! On the bright side, I am back with a review of some soaps I tried out last week. You might be thinking, why does it take only one week for me to review something that should be tested for 2 weeks or so? Well, it's because the effects of the soap are fast!
Last last week, I asked a fellow K-pop friend of mine what whitening soap she'd recommend to me as I am really desperate to lighten my arms because it got tanned from going outside to frequently T.T she suggested this soap from a shop that I always hear from other K-pop friends and so I decided to try it out.
I went on Instagram and looked for the shop and purchased some soaps. The shop owner was really, really nice and friendly! I ordered soaps on a Wednesday and her last shipping day was on Thursday (the next day). I was able to pay the next day, however, I wasn't able to reach her cut-off time. I insisted it was okay if she shipped it on the weekend since it was my fault (well, the weather's fault for raining so suddenly!) anyway. Being the nice person that she is, she still insisted that she will try to find a way on Friday to ship it so that it would arrive on Saturday.
When I came home last Saturday night, IT WAS ALREADY HERE! :o
So I finally got the chance to try out the stuff last Sunday, Monday, and yesterday. So, it's not really a week. Just 3 days of testing and I already have a review up my sleeve. Hehe.
I'm a stupid girl when it comes to love. We've all been stupid in love at one point. It's just that I feel that I'm still to naive when it comes to love. I still make mistakes such as confessing too early on, or even showing my attraction towards a person too much.
I don't always allow lots of people know who I like but when I do (which is rarely), I'm tellin' ya, that means that the person has been denied by my heart quite a few times but I still find myself falling in love. I hope you guys get what I said...
Let me rephrase that for better understanding.

It feels weird but I'm actually crying while typing this post but I've had a lot on my mind recently (I don't even know what and why exactly) and I feel so down these past few days and I just needed quite some alone time. I can assure you tho, that every blog post I create, I don't create for the sake of having something to post, but instead, I create it because it's what I feel. Especially this post. Everything I'll be saying here comes directly from my heart and like I said, I'm crying my heart out as I type this.
For some (unknown) reason, this week all I've been feeling is down. Like, I just really want to be alone. I feel like I have the world's weight on my shoulders and I myself couldn't figure out what's bothering me. Mood swing, perhaps?
But this very day, I met up with a friend to hang out and chat and we got to talk about my best friend. I always love talking about her because she means a lot to me. She has been by my side for almost 15 years and no one understands me better than she does. *eyes clouding up*
My friend said that I'm like the sun in our (my best friend and I) friendship. I said no, I'm more like the moon and my BFF is the sun and she lights me up. My friend said I am the moon and the sun. As we speak, I am the moon because (dear friend, correct me if my memory is wrong) I am dull, and I look like I carry so much weight on my shoulders but when I'm with my BFF, I shine so brightly like the sun. My smile is so genuine when I'm with her.
Talking to this friend of mine, at some points I almost teared up. I tried my best not to and was successful but I failed at one point: when my voice started to shake.
My friend asked me this question: What do you think your life would be like if she *knocks on wood* disappeared? I know the answer. I would be lost. I would be lost without her. But the thought of her completely disappearing from my life is what made me crack a little bit inside. I can't ever imagine a life without her.
She means more to me than anyone else. I must have done something good in my past life to be given a best friend such as her. She is worth more than all the riches this world could give you. She is my other half.
It's true, you don't need a person of the opposite sex to call your true love. I found my true love. I found her. And mind you, there's no homo in this relationship. She is my sister, my partner in crime, my soulmate. She is "The One."
I'm happy because I myself know that I'm very difficult to understand. But her, she understands me. Even better than I do, myself. For 15 years, this girl had been by my side without any kind of motive but just to be there for me when I need her or not. We can not talk for years (we've been through that) but that won't make us drift apart. We are best friends for life. Even after death.
So, Sarrah Jane Pagaduan, my BFF. If you're reading this, I want you to know that I do love you with all my heart. You have been with me during my worst, and also during my best. I don't know why I was given someone like you. You mean so much to me, and I want the whole world to know that. I wouldn't be where I am now, and I wouldn't even be me if it wasn't for you. You make me a better person. Thank you for loving me, for caring for me, and for understanding me throughout the years. I love you.

Hello, guys! I'm back with a new text post. I've been busy with life lately, and busy with my blog giveaway plans as well so I hope you guys don't mind if blog posts and a new video on YouTube won't come in pretty often.
